GET TO KNOW AMSTERDAM

A place to make your own.

Choose a small part of Amsterdam for each full day. This plan keeps the canal neighborhoods together, reserves a separate museum day and leaves room for a different neighborhood rather than adding a distant day trip by default. Four nights let arrival and departure stay practical.

Bring your Amsterdam trip together.

Start with what you need. Keep the rest connected.

FIND YOUR BASE

The right neighborhood makes a difference.

Canal Ring or Jordaan

A first visit

Compare this area for central neighborhood time. Check steep stairs, lift access, nighttime sound and the actual route from transport.

Museum Quarter or Oud-Zuid

Culture and neighborhood time

A useful area to compare for a museum-led visit. Check the journeys back from canal neighborhoods and the selected room’s facilities.

Oost or De Plantage

A different pace

Consider a different neighborhood pace, with a clear journey to the visits you chose. Do not infer that a quieter-looking street means a quieter bedroom.

MAKE TIME FOR THE GOOD PARTS

Little ideas.
Lasting memories.

ARRIVE WITH A PLAN

Your first few hours in Amsterdam.

AMS is Schiphol Airport. Use the airport and transport operators’ current information to choose a route to the actual accommodation. A train to a city station is only part of the journey, so include the last tram, walk or arranged ride and your luggage needs.

Match the arrival station and last leg to the address. Check current services and any ticket conditions rather than treating every hotel as close to Centraal.
