TRIP PLANNING

Connect the details of an international trip

Keep flights, local dates, accommodation, airport journeys and mobile data connected while checking official entry information.

Scenery for International travel

Start with the actual route and travelers. Flight dates, hotel nights and local arrival time may differ, so make each part explicit before adding extras.

01

Check the route before buying the pieces

Use official government information for your nationality, destination and any transit country. Check documents and entry or transit requirements early; a travel-search result does not establish permission to enter.

U.S. travelers can start with the State Department checklist, then check the destination authority. Keep sensitive document numbers out of Hermara and shared trip links.

Confirm each traveler’s documents with the relevant authority.
Check every transit and destination on the actual route.
Keep provider cancellation rules beside your selected options.
02

Match local arrival and checkout dates

Read the flight’s local arrival date before choosing the first hotel night. Make a separate airport-to-accommodation journey and check late-arrival instructions. The final transfer should use the actual departure airport and check-in needs.

Record local dates and time zones for travel legs.
Confirm accommodation access if arriving late.
Review baggage and onward transport at every connection.
03

Choose data for where you will use it

Compare eSIM coverage, validity and device compatibility against the countries and time you will spend there. A country plan does not imply service on a cruise ship or aircraft. Confirm activation, data allowance and the final plan price with the provider.

Check your current mobile plan before adding another.
Confirm the exact country coverage and number of eSIMs.
Keep insurance and other private arrangements as private notes.
04

Money, cards and backups

Carry two payment cards from different accounts and keep them in separate places. When a card terminal asks whether to pay in your home currency or the local currency, choosing local currency usually avoids a conversion markup set by the merchant. Keep a small amount of local cash for transport and smaller shops.

U.S. citizens can enroll in the State Department’s STEP programme to receive safety messages for the destination.

Carry two cards and store them separately.
Pay in local currency when asked.
Enroll in STEP if eligible.
